Gackstetter
Yearley
St. Marys Anglican Church,
Brinsley, was the setting when
Rachel Flora Yearley, Crediton,
exchanged marriage vows with
Edward Louis Gackstetter, Zur-
ich.
The bride is the daughter of
the late Mr. and Mrs. William
Allison, West McGillivray, and
the groom is the son of Mr. John
Gackstetter, and the late Mrs.
Gackstetter, Zurich.,
The Rev. R. H. Annoins, Ailsa
Craig performed the ceremony.
The bridal couple were attend-
ed by William and Elaine Yearley,
Crediton.
Mr. and Mrs. Gackstetter. en-
joyed a trip to Niagara Falls and
points east. They plan to live in
Exeter.

Janet Elizabeth Rose Elliott
and Bruce Murray Moir ex-
changed wedding vows in a
double ring ,ceremony before the
Rev. Grant L. Mills. in a cere-
mony in Ontario Street United
Church, Clinton, Saturday, July
25. The bride is the eldest daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin A.
Elliott, Goderich Township, and
the groom's parents are Mr. and
Mrs. George Moir, Hensall.
The bride wore a waltz length
gown of frost white silk organza
over faille taffeta with matching
headdress and shoulder length
veil. She wore a gold bracelet
worn by her great grandmother
(the late Mrs. William Jervis) at
her wedding, and her bridal bou-
quet was of red roses.
Bridesmaid was her cousin,
Phyllis Elliott, costumed in pink
nylon chiffon over taffeta and
she carried white shasta daisies.

For the reception for forty
guests held at the home of the
bride's parents, the bride's moth-
er received wearing a gown of
periwinkle blue floral in silk or-
ganza over taffeta with white ac-
cessories and a corsage of pink
carnations. The groom's mother
chose a nylon bengaline frock in
aqua ,blue with accessories in
white and a white carnation cor-
sage.
For travelling to the United
States the bride wore an ensemble
in robin egg blue with beige ac-
cessories.
They will reside in Hensall,
where the groom is. employed , by
General Coach Works. For sev-
eral seasons he has been a mem-
ber of the Zurich Lumberkings
ball club.

Marriage vows were exchanged
in a summer wedding of interest
Saturday afternoon, in Redeemer
Lutheran Chuch, London, when
Marilyn June Codlin, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Robert Cod -
lin, Paris, Ont., became the bride
of Charles Edward Albert Kaib-
fleisch, son of Dr. and Mrs. Herb-
ert Karl Kalbfleisch of London,
with the Rev. W. G. Becker of-
ficiating.
The bride wore a gown of white
organza and lace over peau de
soie fashioned with a lace bodice
featuring a rounded neckline and
long tapered sleeves. The bouf-
fant skirt of organza swept into
a slight train. A wreath of pearl-
ized flowers held her fingertip
veil and she carried a bouquet of
white roses.
Miss Jeanette Webster of Paris
was maid of honour, Miss Gail
Codlin, sister of the bride, was
junior bridesmaid and Janet Kalb-
fleisch, flower girl. The maid of
honor wore a gown of Ciel blue
chiffon in street length and the
junior bridesmaid wore a similar
gown in powder blue chiffon with
the flower girl in a matching
powder blue frock.
William Brian Hewat, London,
was best man and ushers were
Allen Brokenshire and Robert
Westlake, both of Zurich.
For a wedding trip to Cape
Cod the bride chose a dress of
deep pink ribbon fabric with
matching taffeta hat and white
accessories. The couple will re-
side in Woodstock.
Both the bride and groom are
graduates of the University of
Western Ontario. The bride has
been on the staff of Ontario Hos-
pital, St. Thomas, as dietitian.
The groom is a member of the
teaching staff of Norwich District
High School.
A number of friends and rela-
tives from the Zurich district at-
tended the wedding..

St, Peter's Lutheran Church,
Zurich, was the setting for a love-
ly summer wedding, Saturday,
August 8, at 4 p.m., when Rose
Nemanishen and James Conrad
Fuss, Alliston exchanged marri-
age vows before the Rev. W. P.
Fischer in a double ring ceremony
amid a floral arrangement of
white and yellow gladioli. The
bride is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Joseph Nemanishen, Lang -
ham, Sask., and the groom's par-
ents are Mr. and Mrs. Harry Fuss,
Zurich.
Mrs. Jack Turkheim, Zurich,
provided traditional wedding mus-
ic and • accompanied the soloist,
Mrs. William Fuss, Hensall, who
sang "The Wedding Prayer" and
"The Lord's Prayer".
Given in marriage by her
uncle, Mr. Sam Nemanishen, Or-
angeville, the bride wore a gown
of street length white brocaded
sheath with scoop neckline, her
shoulder length illusion veil fall-
ing from a lace tiara embroider-
ed with sequins and her bridal
bouquet was red roses and steph-
anotis.
Bridal attendant was Miss Joan
Smithson, Toronto, as bridesmaid,
gowned in emerald green sheath
with over skirt and matching
jacket of white organdy with mat-
ching headdress, and she carried
a bouquet of white daisies.
Linda Fuss, Hensall, was flow-
er girl, and Catherine Fuss, Hen -
sail, ring bearer, frocked in yel-
low silk organza with matching
headdresses. The flower girl car-
ried white daisies and the ring
bearer a white brocaded heart
shaped pillow.
William Fuss, Hensall, attend-
ed his brother as groomsman, and
Cameron Addison, Clinton, usher-
ed the guests.
For receiving the fifty guests
at the New Commercial Hotel,
Hensall, the groom's mother chose
a pale blue silk dress with acces-
sories in white with a red rose
corsage.
A three tiered wedding cake
centered the bridal table, flanked
by white tapers and sprays of
sweet peas.
For their honeymoon, to be
spent at the home of the bride's
parents in Langham, Sask., the
bride wore an off white brown
flecked fitted suit with brown
accessories, with which she wore
a red rose corsage.
Mr. and Mrs. Fuss will reside
in Alliston.
The bride, prior to her marriage,
was on the operating staff at
South Peel Hospital, Cooksville.

Shower Hostess
Mrs, William Fuss was hostess
at her home in Hensall on Tues-
day evening, August 4, for a mis-
cellaneous presentation in honour
of Miss Rose Nemanishen Reg. N.,
formerly of the operating staff of
South Peel Hospital, Cooksville,
bride -elect of this month whose
marriage to James Fuss of Allis-
ton took place in St. Peter's Lu-
theran Church, Zurich, Saturday,
August 8,
Thirty-five relatives from Zu-
rich, Clinton and Hensall presen-
ted the guest of honour with gifts.
Presentation address was read by
Mrs. Ernie Laidlaw of Zurich, and
the gifts were presented by Linda
and Cathy Fuss of Hensall.
