Bible Vacation School Closes
Friday, July 17 saw the finish
of vacation Bible School at Zion
Lutheran Church, when parents
and friends gathered to hear the
children in song and view the
work done by the pupils. Enrol-
ment reached 125. The teachers
and helpers were also presented
with certificates.
Cemetery Decoration Service
The Decoration Service of Zion
Lutheran Church was held on
Sunday, June 19, with Rev. C. J.
Killinger, London, as guest speak-
er. Fair skies and beautiful sun-
shine brought out a good attend-
ance.
Miss Erma Wein, Clinton, and
Dr. and Mrs. A. C. Whittier, Peter-
boro, were weekend visitors with
Mrs. Herb Wein,
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stormes,
St. Thomas, spent the weekend
with Mr. and Mrs. Mervyn Tie -
man.
Mr. and Mrs. Milton Walper and
girls, Ingersoll, and Mrs. Nelda
Routledge, London, were weekend
visitors with Mrs. Philip Fassold.
Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Rader and
family, Mr. and Mrs. William
Haugh, and Mr. and Mrs. Wendell
Gamble and family, London, were
Sunday guests with Mr. and Mrs.
Elmer Rader and family.
Miss Shirley Haugh spent the
weekend in Stratford with Mr. and
Mrs. Carmen Eckmier.

Joan, at Varna, and assisted in
quilting.

and Elaine, and Mr and Mrs. Wil-
liam Steckle spent Saturday af-
ternoon at Goderich.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Weidrick
and Lois, accompanied by the lat-
ter's mother, Mrs. Nancy Schwar-
tzentruber, and Mr. and Mrs. Mose
Erb, Zurich, spent the weekend
with relatives at Pigeon, Michigan.
Mr. and Mrs. Keith Gingerich
and family spent Sunday at Baden
with Mr. and Mrs. Donald
Schwindt and family.
