Rabies Still Around; Health Unit
Issues Warnings For Summer Season
The redfox is still an active 3.
reservoir for rabies in this area,
and the bodies of foxes which
have died of this disease, continue
to be found in fields and near
buildings, reports Dr. R. M. Aldis,
Goderich.
Of particular concern, however,
have been many recent incidents
in which humans were exposed to
.rabies in smaller domestic animals
—dogs, cats, and for the first
time in the county, pigs!
The advent of summer will swell
the numbers of children who will
be at play; and at the lake re-
sorts, whole communities will a-
gain burst into existence. To the
other important safety reminders
of this season, therefore, it is nec-
essary to add caution about rabies.
1. Do keep your dog or cat on
your own premises or under,
your control at all times.
2. Be sure your pet has been
vaccinated against rabies.

Shoulder inserts of Guipure lace

was repeated as a soft hipline

pearls and sequins held the fing-
ertip French illusion veil, and the
bride carried a white Bible with

of the groom.
Mrs. Addie Willis, Varna, pro-
vided the music for the occasion.

ther reecived guests in beige or-
ganza with dusty rose accessories
and a corsage of blue carnations.
