Mr. and Mrs. Donald Schwindt
and family, Baden, spent the week-
end with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth
Gingerich and family, and Mr. and
Mrs. Keith Gingerich and family.
Sunday guests with Mr. and Mrs.
Curtis Gingerich and family, were
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Schwindt
and family, Baden, Mr. and Mrs.
Kenneth Gingerich and family,
Mrs. Nancy Schwartzentruber is
spending a few weeks with her
aunt and uncle, Mr, and Mrs. Noah
Licht, New Hamburg. The latter
being ill.
Mr, and Mrs, Harold Weidrick
attended the funeral of a relative
at Baden, on Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs, Aaron Erb and
family, spent Sunday with the for-
mer's granddaughter, Mr. and
Mrs. Melvin Zehr, in Kitchener;
Mervin and Arnold Erb accompan-
ied them.
Leroy Erb is convalescing at
Clinton Public Hospital, after his
recent operation, and is expected
home soon.
Mr. and Mrs. Moses Jantzi and
daughter, Mary Katherine, Fergus,
spent the weekend with Mr, and
Mrs. Aaron Erb and family, and
other relatives.
Sunday guests with Mr. and
Mrs. David Oesch and family,
were: Mr. and Mrs. Carl Oesch
and family, Baden; Mr. and Mrs.
Amos Baechler, New Hamburg;
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Gingerich, Zur-
ich; Mrs. Emma Kipfer, and Mr.
and Mrs. Chris Gaseho, Zurich.
Sunday visitors with Mr. and
Mrs. William Steckle, Bayfield,
were: Mr. and Mrs. Allan Steckle
and daughter, Pauline, who is nur-
se -in -training at K -W Hospital,
and is home on vacation; Mr. and
Mrs. Peter Steckle and Mr. and
Mrs. Amos Gingerich.

That's why, as another birthday
approaches, I pledge' myself again
to try to slow life down. Maybe
it's too late to plunge into the
stream anew and savour its my-
riad wonderments. But at least I'm
going to sit on the bank and dang-
le my toes in it, rather than try
to build a bridge so I can get to
the other side as quickly as pos-
sible.

You must lower your headlights:
(1) when within 500 feet of an approaching
motor vehicle; and
(2) when following another motor vehicle
within 200 feet.
It is an offence to place signs on the windows'
and to hang objects in the motor vehicle,
which obstruct the driver's view.
It is an offence to load a truck or trailer in
such a way that any part of the load falls on
the highway during transit and the penalty
for such offence has been increased up to a
maximum fine of $200 and in addition the
licence or permit may be suspended.
Passing on the right is nowpermitted in cities,
towns and villages including Metropolitan
Toronto but only:
(1) when overtaking a motor vehicle making
or signalling a left hand turn;
(2) on streets having two or more lanes in
each direction; and
(3) on one-way streets.
