and Mrs. Harold Schroeder, vil-

were taken to see a new house
heated entirely by electricity and
had lunch at The Old Mill. They
also were shown better ways of
lighting their homes. The entire
assembly of ladies and men were
shown cooking by radium heat.
The oven was turned on and cup
cakes cooked in two minutes, and
a cup of water heated for coffee

Tree Cutting Very
Popular in Zurich
Cutting trees on. Goshen Street
in Zurich seemed to be the order
of the day the past week. One of
the most noticeable trees to be
removed was the large one in
front of Thiel's Superior Store. It
was taken down on Friday.
Another large tree in front of
the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Ted
Mittelholtz was cut down in the
earlier part of the week, as was
still another in front of the resi-
dence of Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph
Stade.
All the work was carried out by
employees of Huron County, on
whose road all three trees were
located. Reason for the removal
was given as that the trees were
rotten, and created a danger haz-
ard as they were sitting.
