OBITUARY
John N. Denomy
A well-known resident of this
district, John Nelson Denomy,
Drysdale, died suddenly at South
Huron Hospital on Wednesday,
March 18, 1959, in his 64th year.
Mr. Denomy had been in charge
of the general store at Drysdale
for a number of years.
Born in Hay Township at St.
Joseph, on November 24, 1895, he
was a son of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Regis Denomy. His wife is
the former Adeline Denomme.
Surviving besides his wife, are
four sons: Gerard, Goderich; Ven-
ence, Camp Cagetown, N.B.; Lew-
is, Drysdale; and Victor, London;
two daughters, Emmeline (Mrs.
Alphonse Masse), London; and
Rose Marie (Mrs. Norman Over-
holt, Jr.), London; two brothers,
Maximo, Toronto, and Armand,
Drysdale; and four sisters, Mrs.
Peter Corriveau, Detroit; Mrs.
George Jeffrey, Drysdale; Mrs.
Albert Bedard, Zurich; and Mrs.
Melvin Overholt, Stanley Town-
ship. There are also 14 grandch-
ildren.
The body rested at the West-
lake funeral home in Zurich, until
Saturday morning, when Requiem

For this year's breeding season have you considered
what bull you will use?
Our Artificial Breeding Service is the answer to this
question as it has been for many others.
The constant and continuous growth enjoyed by this
farmer -owned and controlled organization has prompted
considerable increase in staff and we are able to look
after your breeding needs.
Service is available from all breeds, dairy or beef,
and the cost is low. The best bulls that can be purchased
are in use here.
We have nothing to sell except service. You can
become part owner by simply paying the life -membership
fee of $5.00.
Cost per cow is $5.00 for a member and $6.00 for
a non-member.

High Mass was sung at St, Peter's
Roman Catholic Church, St. Jos-
eph, at 9.30 a.m. Interment was
made in the adjoining cemetery.

Prices were steady on both cat-
tle and pigs at Hensall Community
Sale last week. Butcher steers,
up to $24.60; butcher heifers, up
to $23.20; butcher cows, $18.10;
butcher bulls, $20.70; Holstein
calves, $13 to $34; Durham calves,
$36 to $55; veal calves, $32.50 per
cwt.; weanling pigs, $7,80 to $12;
chunks, $13.10 to $15.20; feeders,
$16 to $17.50; sows, $47 to $75;
boars, $9.60 per cwt.
480 pigs, 245 cattle and 75 cal-
ves were sold. Two ponies were
sold, one for $400 to a Hensall
man, and one for $164 to a Mit-
chell resident.
