At Annual Meeting
The WSWS and Ladies' Aid of
Emmanuel E.U.B. Church held its
annual .meeting on March 5, with
Mrs. Jack Mcl✓linchey in charge,
M.S. Melissa Geiger read the Scri-
pture lesson, Johnny Geiger played
a piano solo. The McClinchey sist-
ers sang a duet. ,
. Mrs. Leroy O'Brien conducted
the Mission Study on Friendly
Neighbours. "Canada and the Un-
ited States are called Christian
nations, but they have many pro-
blemms. Canada is the second larg-
est country in the world in area.
Canada is a -land of spiritual chal-
lenge. The Canada Conference of
the E.U.B. Church has ten thou-
sand members, This Conference is
entirely in the Province of Ontario.
The North West Canada Confer-
ence is in the Provinces of British
Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan
and Manitoba, and they have 3,
500 members. The observance of
the World Day of Prayer began
in Canada". .
Loyalty to the Church was also
stressed in this topic. Without
faith we wouldn't be loyal to the
Church.
The president, Mrs. Delbert
Geiger, took charge of the busi-
ness session. The secretary, Mrs.
Harold Rader, read the minutes
of the last meeting, and called
the roll. Mrs. Allan Gascho repor-
ted that two new members had
joined, Mrs. Russell Grainger and
Mrs. Harry McAdams, and that
the group has attained the goal of
a ten percent increase of members.
Two letters were read in reply
to the protest about the crime pic-
tures on TV. Very good reports
were given by the chairmen of
committees. Mrs. Oscar Greb pre-
sented the report of the nominat-
ing committee. The following are
officers for the coming year.
President, Mrs. Delbert Geiger;
first vice-president, Mrs. Leroy
O'Brien; second vice-president,
Mrs. Allan Gascho; secretary, Mrs.
Harold Rader. Treasurer of the La-
dies' Aid is Miss Olive O'Brien
and treasurer of the WSWS is
Mrs. Leonard Erb.

mittee in charge. The committee
was composed of the. following
ladies, Mrs. Leroy O'Brien, Mrs.
Jack McClinchey, Mrs, Melissa
Geiger, Mrs. Leonard Merner, Mrs.
