Camping for crippled children is fun out -doors and in -doors. At the five crippled
children's camps in Ontario, which are owned and operated by the Ontario Society for
Crippled Children, the boys and girls always take back home some article they have
made in their arts and crafts class. Contributions to the_EasterSeal Campaign last year
made it possible for more than 1,200 crippled kiddies to enjoy three weeks. summer
vacation. The 1959 Easter Seal Campaign has an objective of $800,000 and runs
until March 29.

Forum
The Unique Farm Forum met
at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bert
Klopp with a good attendance to
discuss the topic "What can we
learn from labour?" with Mr.
Harry McAdams as discussion lea-
der.
Question 1: What ideas can ag-
riculture borrow from labour to
increase personal income? Strike,
closed shop, dues system, educa-
tional program?
Our forum agreed that we
should have farm organization
(passed by the legislation) to han-
dle all Canadian products, charge
reasonable dues for each product
sold, and only members allowed
to sell through a union dues sys-
tem.
Question 2: Are you in favour
of strike action by farmers? Give
reasons?
No. Our products are too perish-
able and it would • be improper to
let the peoples of the world st-
arve. It is almost impossible to

Tops Old Timers

William Hyde, Hensall, who will
celebrate his 95th birthday in July
was placed first in a class of seven
contestants at the Old Time Fid-
dler's Contest held at the Middle-
sex Seed Fair in London last Th-
ursday night. Mr. Hyde also won
first prize for the oldest person
present.
Paul Winslow, Granton, won
second prize; Bill Collins, Seaforth,
third; and Cecil Maxwell, Varna,
placed fourth.
Mrs. Tack Van Egmond (nee
Gladys Collins), Clinton, .was pian-
ist accompanying her father, Mr.
Hyde and Mr. Maxwell.
