W. Loder, Pastor, Evangelistic Centre, Wingham Everybody Welcome Accidents and Causes John Paul Rau, of the Blue Wat- er north, has returned to his home after being a patient at St. Jo- seph Hospital, London. Some time ago John Paul had the misfortune of falling from a ladder, which caused a fractured bone in one of his arms. It was necessary to undergo an operation to remove a small bone. We regret to say from time to time some one is on the fractured list, due to no fault of there own. This winter has been a treacher- ous one to get around, having to contend with much ice and slip- pery spots where we had to walk. Snow was another feature that caused accidents, for at times there was a slippery coat on it that put you out of balance. So when this winter is passed away there will be some who will have sad memories to think of for years to come. Of course time' cures all and they will be forgotten as time passes on. They will be a renewed memory to them when others will meet with the same misfortune. Comments Well, here we are in the windy month of March, with all its ch- anges. Since the fall of 1958 was much different than previous ones the month of March might have something in store for us un- expected. When winter set in on the 26th of November it meant business from the start, and had all weather predictors baffled. It had them taking wild guesses of what tomorrow would bring. Indians who always wait until the first snow covers the ground before completing their store -a- way for the winter missed out last fall and were disappointed. No Indian summer to guide them, it has been traditional for them to expect that before going to their corn patch. They have been from time to time accused of lack of prudence on their part. Anyway, it has been their custom of doing so for ages and doing different, they presume, would be robbing their tribe of a legend which they inherited from their ancest- ors centuries ago. It might be tactfully added that Snooker is in no condition for travelling at present. 0 Self-made men should be more careful in selecting the materials they use. If Not — Why Not? ..
