SOUP MAKES THE MEAL t
On a cold wintry Sunday night
... or any winter night at home
there's nothing more inviting
than a fireside supper. Especially
when you plan it around a tureen
of tempting hot soup. It's meant,
for warming folks ... tots as we11i
as grown-ups ... right down to
their toes!
So convenient for these informal'
supper menus are hearty canned
condensed soup combinations. Mix
or match family favorites for tasty
treats. An especially enjoyable
team is Bean with Bacon and Veg-
etable Soups ladled from a `careen
into comfortable soup bowls.
Have plenty on hand for "refills".
To go along with the soup . .
tangy open-faced melted cheese
sandwiches and crisp celery. For
dessert, pass squares of spice cake
with butter frosting (msde from
mix) and fresh fruit.
