WINTER. DEWING
Be prepared for winter storms.
If you should get stranded in a
blizzard, know what to do.
Have your car equipped with
blankets? shovel, sand and ashes,
tow rope, first aid kit and flash-
light during the snow season.
Before leaving home pack food
and a hot drink, and also a good
book.
Stay with your car unless you
can see lights at night time, or a
house in the day time.
-If you get stuck, shut off the
engine — remember, carbon mon-
oxide gas is a killer. Wrap up
warmly, relaX and read or sleep.
You won't freeze in your sleep —
if you get too cold you'll awaken.
