Christmas Theme at December Meeting
Of Lutheran United Church Women
"Christmas in Bethlehem" was
the topic presented by Mrs. Harold
Thiel at the December meeting
of the St. Peter's United Lutheran
Church Women, which was held
on Tuesday evening, December 9,
Mrs. Carl Willert assisted Mrs.
Thiel, and the singing of Christ-
mas carols during the course of
the meeting was most enjoyable.
A highlight of the meeting was
the presentation of gifts from the
individual members of the society
for patients in Westminster Hos-
pital, London.
The annual meeting followed the
devotions. Reports given by the
various committees indicated that
the work of the society was very
inspirational and gratifying dur-
ing 1958,
The new slate of officers is as
follows: president, Mrs. O. Winter;
vice-president, Mrs. Len Prang;
secretary, Mrs. Henry Gackstetter,
and treasurer, Mrs. Keith Thiel.
