game 7-1, but the Midgets upset the highly -rated Seaforth crew
by a score of 4-3. Both the Zurich teams had only one practice
previous to the games.

be too powerful for the locals,
as they coasted to a 7-1 victory.
They picked up three goals in the
first period, ' one in the second,
and three more in the third.
Earl Wagner scored the lone
Zurich goal in the second period.

MIDGET GAME
With only one practice before
their first game, the Lions Midgets
turned the tables on the highly
rated Seaforth Midgets by a score
of 4-3. Stellar nettniriding on the
part of Dennis Amacher in the Zu-
rich nets played a big role in the
locals victory.'
Wayne Willert was the big gun
in the Zurich attack, scoring three
goals, all unassisted. Bob Johnst-
on was the marksman for the
fourth Zurich tally.
After Seaforth had taken an
early lead in the first period, Bob
Johnston scored his goal near the
end of the stanza to leave the
teams all tied up at 1-1.
Willert potted two of his count-
ers in the second frame, giving
the homesters a 3-2 lead at that
stage of the game.
Early in the third period Sea -
forth again tied the score, but
five minutes later Willert came
through with his third goal to salt
away the victory.
Ten penalties, five to each team,
were called in the rough contest.
Lack of conditioning hampered the
play of the Zurich team, but with
ice in the local arena now they
should soon round into shape.

Unique Forum
The Unique Farm Forum met at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bert
Klopp on Monday night. The sub-
ject under discussion was, "Farm
Management Training".
Anson McKinley, a member of
the South Huron Farm Manage-
ment Association was guest speak-
er. He gave the forum an outline
of keeping farm accounts as well
as other aspects of farm manage-
ment.
The first question for discussion
was: "Do you feel the .need for
more help in managing your farm,"
to which about 50 percent of the
members answered yes.
Second question, "Why do you
need help", is because farming is
becoming more specialized and
help from the O.A.C. could keep
us better informed as to recent
changes in feed, fertilizer, and
seed required.
Third question was: "Why can
you do it alone." Some of the
members felt that they could make
a success of farming without the
aid of specialists. Fourth question,
"If you do want help, what kind
of help would you accept?" It was
agreed that short courses or help
from officials of the Ontario De-
partment of Agriculture would be
accepted.
The next meeting will be held
at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herb
Klopp, with Mrs. Delbert Geiger
as discussion leader.
