Dogs will be prohibited from
running at large until further no-
tice, a dog catcher was appointed
sand a dog pound will be cons-
tructed. This was deicded by Sea
forth town council on Monday
night as a precautionary measure
during the current rabies outbreak.
As council was about to ad-
journ, Councillor Brady said he
wanted council to take action on
this urgent matter,
The old waterworks was sugges
ted as a place where dogs could
be kept and if not called for by
an owner could be destroyed after
several clays. The animals should
be kept indoors, out of contact
with other animals.
It was decided to appoint Street
Foreman Harold Maloney as dog
catcher, with other members of
the streets staff to assist and the
town truck could be used.

Some people have a flair for giving. They have a talent and taste
for choosing the most exciting Christmas presents. They give the
good things that make living more pleasurable. Many of these
people will give modern electric appliances this Christmas — and
they'll insist on having them ready for use on Christmas day,
because they know these appliances will make Christmas (and
every day for that matter) a new and exciting experience.
So, this year, do a little hinting. Just say you'd like something
wonderful for the household— something the whole family can
enjoy. And don't be surprised if you get a superb, modern automatic
electric appliance to help you `live better electrically"—the ka_fe,
clean, modern way.
