Attend Funeral

Mrs. Bob Talbot, Bayifi+eld, attend -
'ed the funeral of Bette Joanne,
six weeks old infant daughter of
'Mr. and M'rs. George Jackson,
(nee Joyce Helm), 226 Picad illy
Street, London, who died in St.
Joseph's Hospital, Landon, en
Tuesday, Octdber 14.
Funeral services were held on
Wednesday with. burial in London.
Mrs. Jackson is a niece of Mr.
Reid.

er 14.
Mrs. Gordon McKenzie welcomed
all guests. Roll call was answered
by "My Hobby".
Mrs. Wilfred Coleman was in
charge of the program which con-
sisted of a sing song, "The More
We Get Together" and "Smiles."
A violin solo was rendered by two
Seaforth ladies. Mrs. Joe Grum-
mett ' spoke on "What hobbies
mean to me", and also showed a
wonderful display of aprons.
A trio was rendered by three
Crediton ladies. Miss Sandra Doyle
spoke on "Sixty Years of Progress
for the Women's Institute". A
member of Huronclale Institute
rendered a solo "The Little Blue
Man."

July (63.94 cents) .
The average Ontario price paid
by (buyers on the Stratford' andii
Kingston. Cheese E.x hanges for
cheddar cheese was 34.979 cents
per (pound for :September, as com-
pared with 34.927 cents per pound
in August. -

The death +occatnred suddenly in
Lontdan .at her residence, 124
Vatnahall Street, on Octdber 10,
i958, 'of Mrs. John Coliemvan, lin
her 73rd year.
She was the farmer Louisa
Aimistirong, daughter .of the late
Mer. and Mrs. WiLlliatm Armstrong,
of Hay Township, and )had been a
resident oaf London for 46 years.
Her husband predeceased her 12
years algia.

served.

Plans For Bazaar
The monthly meeting of the
Catholic Women's League of St.
Peter's R.C. Church, St. Joseph,
was held at the home of Mrs,
Wilfred Corriveau, with 20 mem-
bers present.
Father Poisson opened the
meeting with prayer. The presi-
dent, Mrs. Lloyd Etue, read the
minutes, which were approved.
Plans were made for the bazaar
which is to be held on November
5. All the ladies were asked to
donate various articles to the dif,
ferent booths, which will be
handcrafts, baking, and a fish
pond.
A donation to the Canadian Na•
tional Institute for the Blind was
approved. The meeting closed with
prayer, following which refresh•
ments were served by the com-
mittee in charge.
The next meeting will be held
in the rectory.
