Girl Guide News
(By Carol Fischer)
Last Friday night the Girl
Guides held their first regular
meeting of the new season. The
evening started with singing the
Queen, and then the Guide Prom-
ise.
Four girls were chosen for the
position of Patrol Leaders, and
at the next meeting these girls
must have speeches ready, to see
who will be elected to the two
positions.
Two girls were also chosen to
run for secretary, and they will
also be voted on at this meeting.
The group then learned a new
song and practised some knots,
after which the meeting closed
with Taps. The next regular meet-
ing will take place this Friday
night. at 8 o'clock.
