The weather has its set backs
for many things, especially in the
fall when :beans and other late
crops have to be harvested. But
broken and wet, humid and disa-
greeable weather has also its good
points, for yours truly attributes
the past rain, wind and sun shine

from their patch to give them a

A Teacher's Problem
Among a high class there was a
student with the .gift of speech
who did much talking in the cless-
room. The teacher, being embar-
assed, wrote on his report card
to his parents, "Johne is a good
student, but he talks to much."
Alfew days later the report card
was returned, the boy's father add-
ing: "You should .meet his mother".
