at the conference of the Ontario
Amish Mennonite ehurohes held

conference covered all areas of
Christian education carried on in
the Ontario congregations,
The conference theme was "Fal-
lowing Christ in Our Work".
Speakers were Grant Stoltzfus,
teacher at the Eastern Mennonite
Coillege, Harrisonburg, Virginia;
his wife, Ruth Brunk Stoltzfus,
dormer speaker on. "Heart to
Heart" radio broadcast, and How-
ard Kauffman, teacher at Goshen
College, Goshen, Indiana, who also
serves as secretary of the home
interests of the Mennonite Com-
mission. for Christian Education.

Tall standards of pink and white of Johanna Hill roses and green
gladioli, candelalbra and fern flam-
ed the setting for the wedding of
'Shirley May Bell and Ronalkl
Carlos Passmore in Carmel Pres-
byterian Church, Hensall, on Sat-
urday, September 6 at 12 noon,
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Harold C. Bell, Hensall,
and the groom Is the son of Mrs.
Pearl Passmore, Hensall, and the
date Carl Passmore.
Rev. Robert G. MacMillan., God-
erich and Rev. R. A. Passmore,
Owen Sound, uncle of the groom,
performed the double rang core -

Traditional wedding music was
played by Mrs. Malcolm Dougall
and soloist was Miss Jean Hend-
erson, He;nsall, who sang "'The
Lord's Prayer" and "I'll walk Be-
side You".
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a floor -length
gown oif Chantilly lace and nylon
tulle, fitted bodice, Sabrina. neck-
line emlbraidered in irridescent se-
quins and lily point sleeves. Bouf-
fant skirt oif alternate ruffles of
lace and nylon tulle. A craven.
of seed pearls held her fingertip
veil and she carried a 'cascade

The maid of honor was Miss
Pat Bell, Hensall, sister of the
bride, who wore a mint green
(ballerina length gown of net or-
ganza over taffeta. She carried
pinnochio green and white 'mums.
Bridesmaids were Miss Betty
Bell, sister of the bride, and Miss
Norma Passmore, sister of the
groom, who wore identically styl-
ed ballerina gowns of shrimp ny-
lon chiffon and net ower taffeta
fashioned with softly shirred bod-
ice and enhanced with deep band-
ing of ;pleated chiffon firoen V
'neckline in front„ draping over
shoulders and floated down back
in fly panels. They carried Johan-
na Hill roses and white 'mums.
Their headdresses were bandeaux
oif rhinestones and flowers in mat-
ching shades.
Bill Kerslake, London, was
groomsman and ushers were Don.
Bell, Exeter, brother of the bride,
and Gerald P1ynn, Hensall.
A reception was held' for 50
guests in the .church parlors with
the bride's another receiving in a
sheath afternoon dress of dior
blue Chantilly lace aver taffeta
with .dior blue accessories and a
corsage of pink carnations. The
grooan:'s mother assisted 5n a
sheath dress of beige silk organza
with coffee brown accessories and
a corsage of white carnations.

Mrs. Edward Corbett, Mrs. Rob-
ert Caldwell,, Mrs. Glen Nixon and
Miss. Mary Goodwin.

St Peter's Lutheran. Ladies Aid Marks
50th Anniversary With Special Service
The Ladies Aid of St. Peter's
Lutheran 'Church, Zurich, celebrat-
ed their 50th. anniversary on Sun-
day
unday night with a special service,
when they had as their guests
the ladies of the Evangelical Oh-
urch in Zurich and the ladies of
the Lutheran church in Dashwood.
Rev. E. Heimri'ch, Brantford, a
former pastor of the Zurich con-
gregation, was the special speaker
at the service.
•Following the ;church seivice, to
'fellowship hour was held in the
basement of the church. Mrs. Ann-
ie Finkibeiner, president of the
Ladies Aid, welcomed all the visit-
ors, after which Rev. O. Winter,
spoke briefly. Mrs. Edward Hab-
erer gave a review of the first
25 years of the organization, and
Mrs. Edward Datars gave a re-
view of the last 25 years. Greet-
ings from the ladies of Zion Luth-
eran Church, Dashwood, were ex-
tended by Mrs.M1i'fred Merner,
and Rev. A. M. Amaicher brought
greetings from the women oif the
Evangelical. Church in. Zurich.
Miss Helen Nadiger and Mrs.
Albert Rader, Dashwood, sang a
duet accompanied by Mrs. Edgar
Resternayer. Mrs. Beatrice Hess
sang a solo, accomipan;ied by Mrs.
Jack Turkheian at the piano. Miss
Eleanor Prang 'played a coronet
solo, and a recitation was given
by Mrs. Ray Slisher. Vice-presi-
dent of the Ladies' Aad, Mrs„
W. H. Brokenshire, thanked the
guests for helping to make the
anniversary a success.
After the short program a luncu
was served to all the Ladies by the
members of the Ladies Md.
At the moaning church service
new red paraments donated to the
congregation by the Ladies Aid
on the occasion of their Golden
Jnabilee were dedicated. .
