After the 'Kings scored three

Ther biggest rally came in the
fourth inning, when they scored
five of their ruins.

came out of retirement to assist
the umpires in their role .of keep-
ing order, ,and, •exce!pt for quite
a few bad calls, leaked very ef-
ficient.
Of course the Olidtinvers did
have a .bit of help from the
'(Kings. in the way of pitching
and cratchanng Aged D;on O'Brien
was on 'the mound for the Old-
timers and Old Man Rawlings did
the catching, While !oldtimer Carl
Heideman and Ron (Heimraich did
the pitchirng for .the Lumlberkings.
Others helping the Otldtim!ers
were: Gard Block, Bert Horton,
Hiensall; Thank Burns, Climrbon;
Mi!lfreid Sch:ilire, Hubert Slchiribe
and Earl Yungblut. All in all it
was a real evening of entertain-
ment and was well worth watch-
ing, even though there were a l(at
of sore muscles the next day.

Listowel Juniors Defeat 'Kings Again;
Zurich Has Seven Errors Iln Exhibition
The LJstowell Juniors remained
the only dna) an the Huron Perth
League which can (bleat the Zu-
mi!dh Lumherkings, as ;they drubb-
ed the locals 7-3 in an exhibition
game played in Zurich last Wed-
nesday 'night. Previously the Jun-
itorshad beaten Zurich in Listowel,
and had lost to the 'Kings here
in Zurich !bty a score of 4-3.
For the loran nine it was the
poorest ekhibitilan of baseball they
have played this year, as they
,Committed no less than 7 field-
ing errors. Meanwhile they were
just as ineffective at the bat piek-
du g up only three hits.
Batting right around in ,the
third inning, the Listowel team
!pricked up four walks off starting
!patchier Ron Healer, and added twin
hits, to score five runs. They
earned ;their other ,two, runs off
(pitcher Bob White, who relieved
Heller in the fourth inning. The
Juniors also picked up only three
hits, one a home run in the third,
but they only made two errors.
The Lumvberkings scored one in
the first inning and the other two
in the fifth. Bill Yunigblut hit
a ,dauible for the Zurich crew,
singles .going to Awn Meyer and
Gerry Bell.
Ron Heller struck out three

Both, Heiler and Thomas walked
five batters, whlile White gave up
only one free pass.

next Monday. The annual Thiel'
Reunion is going to attract rer nb-•

ilies Who are in the reflation.
Ganes are usually played at
these outings, ,and old acquaint-
ances are renewed for another -
year The day ends, with a supper
being served in lihe Community
Centre.
