Winter in a double ring ceremony at St, Peter's Lutheran Church, Zurich:, on Saturday, July 19 at 4 p.m. The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thiel, Zu- rich and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Kyle, Kip - pen. The bride was given in marriage by her rather and those a floor - length gown of pure silk taffeta. A. coronet compli- mented by seed pearls and irrides- cent sequins held: her finger tip veil and she carried a white Bible crested with a white orchid. • Gowned in street -alength white Swiss idbt over pastel blue nylon with full. skirts and puffed sleeves coanpli¢nented by taffeta cummer- bund with abow at the back, the attendants were Miss Mary Louise Fritz, Toronto, as maid of honour, Miss Norma Stebiback, Zurich, and Mrs. Ronald Heinrich, E4cet- er, as bridesmaids. Their small hats were of the same material and they carried colonial bouquets of pink carnations nestled in a pink ribbon background. Ringibearer was Master James Kylie, brother of the groom. Gro- omsman was Thomas Kyle, Hens - all, and the ushers were William McClinchey and Douglas Thiel, br- other of the bride. Ronald Heim - rich, Eketer, was soloist and Miss Marlene Wagner, Guelph, was or- ganist. CLARE McBPi1DE, Correspondent) Gail McBride, Bill Elliott and Anson McKinley, enjoyed the bus trip to Waliaceburrg last Wednes- day which was sponsored by the 4-H Club, Mrs. Roy Lamont returned Moine on Thursday after spending a :Few days in 'S'ea,forth Hospital. Jim McBride spent Thursday night with Mr. and Mrs. Clare McBride: Mrs. McBride is visit- ing her daughter in Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. Will Robinson, Lynn, Joanne and Richard, Byron, spent e. week with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Robinson. Rev. Workman, Seaforth, is preaching at Goshen while Rev, T. J. Pitt is on holidays-. Donna Hayter has taken a ,posi- tion at Grand Bend for a few weeks. Elgin, Anson and Bob McKinley and families, attended the Cole- man reunion at Lions Park, Sea - forth, on Saturday. Joyce Hayter is spending a few days in Detroit with her aunt, Mabel Harvey. WIVES Hold Picnic ric The Woman's Missionary Soc- iety of Goshen entertained the Baby Band and Mission Band at a picnic in the church grounds mother chose aqua eyelet over taf- feta with white accessories, The reception was held at the Thiel residence. Far -travelling the ,bride chose a beige sheath dress and matching coat with coffee accessories. The couple left on a wedding :trip to .northern Michigan and northern Ontario. Hensali 4-H Bean Club Tours Ailsa Craig Farm On Wednesday evening the lead- ers and members of Hensall White Bean Club took a motor trip to .Alex M. Stewart's farm, near Ailsa Craig. Mrs. Stewart took them for a tour of his farm, which proved very interesting. He gave the group a tank on the different farm products and means by which they are /planted, cared for, and harvested. To end the tour of the farm they were served delicious water- melon. Phyllis Lostell thanked Mr. Stewart on behalf of the members for a very enjoyable and profit- able evening. a BLAKE (Mrs. Amos Gingerich, Correspondent) Mr. and Mrs. Heinz Benedictus, Sarnia, visited with friends in and around Blake over the weekend. Archie Mustard spent the week- end in Blake with his family. Sunday .guests with Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Martin were: Mr. and Mrs. Cleve Gingerich and fam- ily, Mr.. and Mrs. Kenneth Ginge- rioh and faintly. Mr. and Mrs. Don Steekle and fortuity spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. William Steckle. Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Horst, Kit- chener, and the tatter's sister of Taranto, called on relatives and friends over the weekend. The Youth Fellowship was held at the Blake Mennonite Church and was largely attended. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Gingerich, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs, Am- os Gingerich, spent Sunday at New Hamburg, visiting with Mr and Mrs. Allan Schwartzentruber and fancily.
