In a setting of yellow and
white ',mums, at the Blake Men-
nonite Church, Deiphine Elizabeth
Erb and Melvin Murray Zehr
were united in marriage by the
Rev. Menno Zehr.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. end Mrs. Gordon Erb, Zurich,
and the ,groom is the son of Mr•
and Mrs. Jonas, Zehr, her i ne ton
Given in marriage by
the bride wore a ballerina -length
gown of French lace and nylon
tulle over white satin with
point sleeves. She carried a white
Bible 'crested with yellow roses.
Gowned in green brocaded satin
Miss Joy Erb was maid of honor
for her sister. Bridesmaids Miss
Carol E'rb and Miss Eleanor Erb,
sisters of the bride, wore gown
of •green and yellow brocaded sat-
in.
Raymond Zehr. Kitchener. bro-
ther of the groom was groomsman
and ushers were Roy Zehr, Water-
loo, brother of the groom and Har-
old Erb, Zurich, uncle of the bride.
For travelling, the bride chose
a beige and brown dress with
white accessories and a corsage
of yellow roses. After a wedding
trip to the west coast the couple
will reside in Kitchener.

Farquhar
Thomas Charles Farquhar,
prominent and highly esteemed
resident of the Village of Herman
passed away in South Huron Hos-
pital, Exeter, on Saturday, July
12, in his 72nd year. Born in Hul-
lett Township, he formerly farmed
in Stanley Township, taking up
residence in Hensall nine years
ago. He was a member of Hensall
United Church and :and robe 2,2r 4,
Hensall. Huron Lodge, A.F.
Hensail.
Surviving are his wife, the for-
mer Emma Consitt; two sons,
Aubrey, Kippen. and Ronald, To-
ronto; three daughters, Mrs. Wal-
ter (Doreen) :Spencer,Prs Edmund
Dorothy,,n
(Mary) Knox, both of Toronto;
two sisters, Mrs. Maud Lambert,
and Miss Sophy Farquhar, both
of Hamilton; one brother. Frank,
predeceased him some years ago.
He is also survived by seven
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held from
the Hensall United Church on
Tuesday, July 15, conducted ,by
Rev. Charles D. Daniel. Burial
was in Exeter Cemetery.
