Services has been designate:d the
afificiad
collector for the Govern-
ment Hospital :Plan on behalf
of the rural ,people in Huron: Coun-
ty and members who are self-
employed or' otherwise not sub-
ject to the mandatory regulations
of the Ontario Hospital Ser ices
Commission.
Commencing on January 1, 1959,
the present hospital plan expir-
es; but members are tbetng reg-
istered, and if they desire, by
paying premiums may continue
in the government's new Ontario
Hospital Insurance Plan. Ar-
rangements can be made through
the local group secretary, or at
the Co-op Medical Office, in Clin-
ton, when requested.
If you pay your premiums, Bert
Irwin, secretary -treasurer of the
Co-op, can supply you with the
official certificates. from the gov-
ernment entitling you to their
benefits in the standard wards of
Ontario's approved hospitals.

of age) and $19 for single pers-
ons.
The directors of Huron Co-op-
erative Medical Services are of-
fering a Major Medical Plan, ef-
fective January 1, 1959, to protect
members a g ai ns t catastrophic
medical expenses, not related to
standard ward hospital care. This
is a splendid supplement to the
government's ,hospital plan and
pays 80 percent of all non -hos-
pital costs, ordered by the doctor,
in excess of $500 and up to $5,000!
Annual rates $10 per family, or
$5 per single applicant.
Anyone wishing to become a
member, should contact the local
director, group secretary, or head

The annual Troyer reunion was
held at Jowetts Grave, Bayfield,
on Saturday, with a good attend-
ance. An interesting line of sports
was :prepared by the committee,
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Talbot and
Mr. and Mrs. Francis Coleman.
The results of the races are as
follows: pre-school children, Sand-
ra C•aleman; girls 6-9, Betty Hog-
gart; boys 6-9, Jerry Coleman,
Harvey Haggart; girls 8-12, Kar-
en Tia:lbot, Sandra Hugill; boys
