girls in the district will' want
to join next year.

midway to the fair.

Convention of Learned Societies
.Several members of the fac-
ulty of Unliversity of Western Ont-
ario will be in Edmonton this
week and next, to take part in
the Conference of Learned Soc-
ieties.
The conference draws the larg-
est number of intellectuals and
scientists to meet at one time
in Canada. About 1,200 delegates
are attending.
Among the noted speakers is
the mane of Ralph Krueger, a
Zurich .boy who did graduate
studies at Western and hater re-
ceived his Master of Arts Degree
in Indiana.
Ralph was always an ambitious,
industrious, and conscientious stu-
dent and Zurich can Indeed are
proud of her native son. At pres-
ent he is a professor of Geography
in Wayne University. Ralph is
the son of Mrs. Myrtle Krueger,
