John Thompson, Seaforth, and Mrs. Thompsdn, were elected presidents of the South Huron Camp of Gideons and .the Ladies' Auxiliary, respectively. Mr. Thom- pson heads the camp of 11 mem- bers, which represents the whole of South Huron. Meeting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. T. Harry Hoffman, Dash. - wood, the two groups expressed satisfaction with the year's work that was tabulated. During the past year almost 1,200 Bibles and Testaments were placed in schools, hospitals, hotels, motels, jails, rest hones, doctors' -offices, airforce bases, county homes etc. Since the organization of the camp a little more than two years ago, over 4,000 have been presented. An increasing interest in the program is being found, the report continued, both locally and na- tionally.
