The seventh meeting of the
4-H girl's was held with 11 girl's
and Mrs. Mervyn Tiernan present.
Ruth, Anne Rader was appointed
secretary for the evening. Miss
Patterson will be present this
week at the meeting. Mrs. Tie-
rnan: discussed public health_ ser-
vices, nurse, innocuati'ons for
children, 'TB x -nay and classes for
expectant mothers. Our national
pantry shelf, general rules for
meal planning and traffic safety.

The executive was in charge of
the May meeting, with the presi-
dent, Mrs. Arnold Kuntz presid-
ing. 22 members and eight visit-
ors were present. It was decided
to enter an exhibit in the Exeter
Fair, with Mrs. Leonard Schenk
in charge. The book of quilt
blocks for the district annual was
on display.
The conveners .brought in their
programs for the year. Mrs. A.
V. Tiernan and Mrs. J. M. Tiernan
were appointed a committee to
buy things for the kitchen.
The public school children sang

cepted a call rto' become rector of
Triviitt Memorial Church, Exeter,
land St. Paul's Anglican 'Ohiuroh,.
Hensel'. His Guides are to com-
mence in ,the middle of May. Rev.
N. B. Knox, rector of Exeter and
Hens'all churches, for the past five
years' has. accepted a call to Lam-
beth,
songs, Mrs. Harold Kellerman
gave a reading. Mrs. Leonard
Schenk gave household hints; and
Mrs:. Emil Becker showed films
of recent trips she and her Pani
illy had taken.
