Rev, Lane was a former pastor of Mrs. Pieter. Celebrate Anniversary Relatives of Mr. and Mrs. Ad- olph Keller !pleasantly surprised .them at their theme Friday even- ing on the ocoaisi!an of their 35th wedding anniversary. Progressive euchre was enjoyed, winners were Mrs. Ed. Keller and Garnet Wil- leex'It; consolation, Mrs. Lloyd I%a- Jier and finely! Rader. They rec- eived: many lovely gifts. Lunch followed. I•illoyd Rader was also surprised to find a birthday cake for its birthday. Dashwood Safety Guards The 4 -OE girls held their meet- ing Wednesday eveniing with 13 girls alnd the leaders present. The meeting opened with 0 Can- ada. Mrs. Mervyn Tiernan dis- cussed Healthful Clothing (shoes and ;stodkiogs) stressing the .ie - sults or poser fitting shoes and is:bookings, Nutrition was also dis- cussed, Mrs. Hoffman showed the girls different kinds Of bandages and knots. Roll catl for aiiext meet- ing "My average food selection fora week". Home assignment, marls food selection score,; work on charts. The meeting closed with the 4-H Pledge. On F ri'day - evening OPP Const- able Harvey, Goderich, spoke , tto the girls and friends on safety ,driving ,and showed tains. Miss Delphime Erb, Kitchener, spent the weekend with herr par- ents, MVir. and Mrs, Gordon Erb, Sunday guests with Mr.. and Mrs. Amos Girngerich were; Mr. and Mrs,. Heinz Beneduatus, Sar- nia; Mr. and iVlrs. Roy Gimgenlch and Melvin, and Mr. and Mts. Kenneth Gingen iah and Norma Sean. Missies Shirley Gingerioh and Ealsie 'Steckle, accompanied Clayton Srbeelde, spent the weekk4 end at Meridiem. Miss Ethel Gabel, Zurich, ac- companied by Mrs. Peter Girgger- icih: motored to Stratford on San - day to attend ,the chundh confer-, once in that city. Mr. .and Mrs. Clare Deiehelrt, Miss Betty Cdngerich and William n Seteckle were Sunday viSietors at Adana 'Craig with Mr. and Mas. Reuben •Gingerich and family. Th- ey also visited Miss Emrcna Finlay, who is still a patient at Strath rosy Hospital, and who is getting along very well. Mr. and Mrs. Amos Gingeridh and the Finlay girls motored to London last Thursday, and visit- ed James Finlay at the Wax Mem- orial •0hithdren's Hospital. He is getting- along very nicely. They also called at the Strathroy Hos- pital to See Harold Finlay and his daughter, Emma, who are both getting 'along as well as can be expected. The sympathy of our commun- ity goes to the Finlay family in their :recent bereavement.
