and daughter 'Therese, Windsor,
spent the weekend at their cot-
tage in the Laporte summer res -
oat.
Mar.. and Mrs. Napoleon Denom-
me, Detroit, spent the weekend in
their summer cottage at Denom-
m!e's ,grove. -

night The bridal couple were the
recipients of many valuable gifts;
which shows the high esteem in
which they are held in the com-
munity.

Each Ione did their share of the
work, and of course there were
moments of relaxation, at which
time there were joke tossed a-
bout to one another:. This bit of
humor seemed to abbreviate the
strenuous work, and make their
task more enjoyable.

On Thursday night, the Guides
head !their weekly meeting, The
Shamrock Patrol reviewed their
laws, and. .the Oriolle Patrol list-
ened to a discussion on the "Pat-
rol System". Atter the meeting
Court of Honour was held with.
,Captain Webb, Eleanor Prang, El-
izabeth Bannister, Sharon (Lawr-
ence, Patsy -Brisson Oaroa Fische`
and Mary 'Filen Thiel present.
A. contribution in the form of a
picture was sent to the Crippled
chi!lldreni. Also discussed was the
forth- conning "head day" at Bay -
Read amid the camping trip. The
rneeti'ng was adjourned by Patsy
Brisson.
Duthiarme, the aged mother, than-
ked all her children and showed
her appreciation:. We are sure
those who helped so generously
had their hearts leap with joy
and contentment for their kind
deed.
