Erb, Zurich, slaughter .of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Erb, Zurich, and William Douglas Dick, Exeter, soon of Mrs. Ida Dick and the late Ross Dick, Ex- eter, were united in marriage by Rev. A. M. Amacher, do the Zur- ich Evaangelllical Church, on Satur- day, April 19, at 2.30 p.m. The church was decorated with bask- ets of pink and white snapdrag- ons and candlelight. The soloist, Lorne Amacher, sung, "0 Promise Me," ,and "Wed- ding Prayer,," ;accompanied by Mrs. Beatrice Hesss, at the organ. Given in marriage by her Path - ea the bride ware a floor length gown of nylon tulle and chantilly lace over taffeta, lily point sleev- es, pearl sequin .bodice, pearl seq- u :sin. head piece with elbow leng- th: veil, pearl .earsings, and car- ried a cascade bouquet of pink roses, white stephanitis and ivy. Miss Joan Koehler, Henssall, was maid of honor, :and was dres- sed in yellow nylon chiffon: net over taffeta in ballet length. She wore a ribbon and flowered head piece to match, elbow length .gloves and shoes to match. She carried a cascade bouquet of yel- low carnations, white baby 'mums and ivy. The bridesmaids were Miss Nancy Craig, Toronto, iin pink similar to the maid of honor, and Miss Beverley Dick, London, in blue. Ian Dick, Exeter, abten'ded Ms brother, and ushers were Richard and John Erb, .brothers of the bride. The reception was held in the ehurah basement with the ladies of the church serving a ''et turkey dinner. The bride's mother received 'guests wearing a blue floral tery- !Gene with white accessories, and the groom's mother chose a rose brocade with, gold overlay and orchiid :accessories. For a wedding trip to the St. .Lawrence Seaway and Montreal, the bride wore a punk chemise, melon coat, with black and white accessories and a corsage of white roses and stephanitis. On their return the couple will reside nn Exeter. Guests were present from Lon- 'don, on-.don, Toronto, Seafortth, Exeter, Henson, Alissa Graig and Zurich. Ontario President, Ted Bate- man, Mount Bridges, urged that the producers become self snzppor- ting in order to retain their self respect. Born in Bayfield', he was the third son of the late Charles and Catherine (Johnston) Parker. Surviving are his wife, the for- - mer Myrtle A.
