Mr. and Mrs, Lewis Wolfe, Clif-
ford, visited a week with their
son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and
Mrs, Carl Oestreicher.
Mr, and Mrs. Roy Pepper, Sea -
forth, and Kenneth Crich, Mack-
lin, Saskatchewan, were Sunday
guests of Mr.' and Mrs. Clifford
Pepper.
Unique Farm Forum
The Unique Farm Forum held
its final meeting of the season at
the home of Mr, and Mrs. Clifford
Pepper. with a good attendance.
Leonard Merner led the discus-
sion on the topic "Canada's role
in World Affairs". The forum.
wants to know more about Can-
ada and the part it is playing
in world affairs regarding the
Colombo Plan.
The election of officers for the
coming year followed. Secretary
is Herb Klopp, press reporter, Mrs.
Clifford Pepper, and assistant,
Mrs. Carl Oestricher. Picnic com-
mittee is Mr. and Mrs. Leonard
Merner, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford
Pepper and Mr. and Mrs. Herb
Ii'1oop.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack McClinchey
and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Schade
were appointed to get the forum
meetings organized in the fall, wh-
en the next series begins.
Lunch was served, including the
usual treat of ice-cream. supplied
by William Edighoffer. The meet-

The monthly meeting of Goshen
Women's Missionary Society was
held at the home of Mrs. James
Keys, on Tuesday, March 18. The
president. Mrs, Elmer Hayter, pre-
sided, with Mrs. Russell Erratt as
pianist.
Mrs. Allan Armstrong took
the study hook, assisted by Mrs.
James Key and Mrs. Arnold Keys.
Plans were made for the baz-
aar to be held on Saturday March
29. Mrs. Anson McKinley's group
served lunch.
Mr. and MrsJames Keys visi-
ted Murray Hohner, who is ill in
hospital in London,
Mrs. Margaret Erratt has re-
turned from a holiday in Toronto.
Mr. and Mrs. William Robinson
and family accompanied by Ross
Dilling, spezi the weekend with

On Thursday last a quilting bee
was held at the home of Mrs.
Pete Jeffery, and was well atten-
ded by the feminine sex of the
surrounding neighbourhood.
Rudolph Etue, Seaforth, called
on relatives in this neighbourhood
on Sunday last, He was accomp-
anied back by Nelson Bedard, who
had taken care of his farm stock
for a few weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Martindak,
Port Huron, were weekend visitors
with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ducha\rme-
and family, 14th concession; they
also visited with the latter's par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Duchar-
me.
Mr. and Mrs. Victor Ducharme,
Drysdale, motored to London on
Sunday last and visited at the
home of Mr, and Mrs. Napoleon
Ducharme. They acted as spon-
sors for Marie Ann who has sev-
en sisters and one brother to wel-
come her into her home '
The cement work on the Corri-
veau and Ducharme bridge has
now been completed and it will not
be to long before it is again in
use. The month of March has
been excellent for that kind of
work and those in charge took full
advantage of it in the past few
weeks.
On Thursday last, Fred Grattan,
Port Blake, while returning from
a business trip in Goderich, called
at the home of Mr. and Mrs. rFed
Ducharme. Mr, Ducharme and
Mr Gratton are cousins and had
not met in years, needless to say
the visit was an enjoyable one,
bringing baek memories of their
boyhood and the many years since
gone by.

Goderich, spent a day last week
with Mr. and Mrs. Thomas West-

Mr. and Mrs. Archie Mustard
spent Friday night with Mr. and
Mrs, Gladwin Westlake. Brian
and Richie, who are at present
staying with the Westlakes spent
the weekend with their parents
at the home of their grandmother,
Mrs. Sam Hey, Blake.
Barry Cleave celebrated his six-
th birthday on March 23, and had
as his guests Phyllis and Jimmie
Grainger.
Robert Turner called on his par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. John Turner
on Sunday,
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Houston,
Goderich, spent a day last week
with Mr. and Mrs. Thomas West-
lake.
