successful euchre and dance on
Friday evening. There were 14
tables of euchre The winners:
ladies, Mrs. Alex McMichael and
Mrs. Cecil Dowson; gentlemen,
Jack Smith and Garnet Taylor.
Murdoch's orchestra supplied the
music for the dance. Tickets
were sold on a bushel of apples
and the lucky ticket drawn was
held by Garnet Taylor.

their regular meeting on Wednes-
day afternoon at the home of Mrs.

The Girl Guides held their reg-
ular weekly meeting on Thursday
night, with Captain Kaye Webb in
charge. After playing games the
Guides went to their patrol corns
ers. The meeting closed with taps
at nine o'clock.
On Saturday the Girl Guides
will make a door-to-door canvass,
taking orders for "Hot Cross
Buns", which they will be selling,
