Woods. 75 Sunnylea Avenue E., Toronto 18, Ontario, March 10. 1958. (Dear Sirs: The following is somewhat in allegory. Some of your readers may not get the meaning, but others should have no such dif- ficulty. A FABLE BUT NOT ONE OF AESOPS Once upon a time there was a public meeting which was well attended. There was a lot of hand shaking and back patting, after which, with great pleasure, there were some officers elected. It was a great victory. The tide, instead of ebbing and flawing twice in twenty-four hours, came in early to celebrate the victory. Had the celebrants been teen-agers they would have been bad boys. The moral of this story is "Rover should move over, he is a big dog now."
