Kinettes Receive
Invitation From.
Sinicoe's Club

Hensall Kinette Club met at
the home of Mrs. Harold Knight
Tuesday evening for their Feb-
ruary meeting, with president Mrs.
John Heal in the chair. Fine
mistress for the evening was Mrs..
Harold Bonthron. An invitation
was received from Simcoe Kinette
Club to attend an inter -club meet-
ing May 2.
Further plans were discussed
for the joint meeting with Exeter
Kinettes February 24, at Arm-
strong's restaurant, Exeter. Guest
speaker for the evening will be
Mrs. Hope Barber, of the At -
Horne Show, CFPL-TV, London.
All the members other than ch-
artered members were formally
initiated into the Hensel] Kinette
Club. The raffle was won by the'
vice-president, Mrs. Frank Ell-
wood. Next meeting will be held
in Hensall March 11.

and Mrs. John Aubin, Seaforth.
Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Porter, Mr.
and Mrs. Jack Porter, Clinton,
Miss Margaret Fuss, R.N., and
Miss Rose Nemanishen, RN., Sas-
katoon, Sask., spent Friday even-
ing at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Ernie Laidlaw.
Mrs. Louis Weber was rushed
to South Huron Hospital, Exeter,
on Tuesday afternoon, by West-
lake ambulance.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Clausius
were in Baden on Saturday at-
tending the funeral of a friend,
Delifred Norman Boshart.
Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Gingerich
motored to St. Thomas last Wed-
nesday, bringing their daughter,
Gloria, home with them for a few
days. holidays.

Melvin Elliott had the misfor-
tune to have his ankle fractured
when a horse stepped on his foot.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Robinson

William Mills, Carlyle, Sask., vis-
ited them. He had come East to
purchase a new car.
Mr .and Mrs. Orville McClinch-
ey, visited the home of the latter's
sister, Mr. and Mrs. William Sit-
ter, in Thedford, recently.
Anson McKinley attended a
meeting in Belleville, where he
was the guest speaker. He told
of his trip to Indiana with a farm
mangement group.

Rosalie Westlake read some

song by the grade one and two
pupils. John Talbot read a poem,
and Helen Grainger and Sandra
Westlake favoured with a piano
duet. Richie Talbot and Jim-
mie Grainger sang a Valentine
song which was followedby
solo "My Secret" by
Scotchmer. Brian Mustard and
Ronald Scotchmer sang a very
pleasing duet, "O Lord I am tir-
ed" and this was followed by a
piano solo by Phyllis Grainger.
Rick Newman, Clinton, spent Ricky Mustard recited a poem

On Friday, February 14, the

Mission Band
The monthly meeting of the
Goshen United Church Mission
Band was held on February 16.
A garne called Gorro and Ping was
played. Mrs. Claire McBride, a
leader, read a story.
14 memberships were paid,
making a total of 20 members.
Miss Joan Elliott was pianist
and Miss Gail McBride took up
the offering.
WMS Meets
The monthly meeting of Goshen
Woman's Missionary Society was
held at the home of Mrs. Bruce
Keys, on Thursday, February 13.
The theme was "Looking to
Christ and not ourselves." The
meeting opened with a hymn and
prayer by Mrs. Russell, Erratt.
Mr. and Mrs. Morley Witmer,
Detroit, spent a few days With..
friends and relatives in the Zurich
district.
Mr. and Mrs. William O'Brien,
London, were weekend visitors at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy
O'Brien.
Mr, and Mrs. Edwin Gascho
motored to Toronto on Saturday;
Mrs. Gaseho remaining there for
a week's holidays.
Kenneth Breakey spent a few
days in Toronto last week attend-
ing to business interests.
Leonard Prang, James Parkins,
Jack Pearson, Howard Klopp and
Elroy Desjardin, representing all
the Zurich garages, attended the
Clinerama Motor Show in London
last Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Norman Overholt
visited with friends in the Chat-
ham district over the weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Oke visit-
ed with relatives in Windsor over
the weekend.

teaching staff of a Kitchener
school, enjoyed the weekend at
the home of her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Leonard Wagner.
Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Mittel-
hal'tz left on Friday with friends
from Windsor for the land of the
sunny south, in Florida. Edward
Mitte`lholtz, who has been spend-
ing some time in Florida, has re-
turned home.
. Mrs, O. Winter, who has been
a patient at St. Joseph's Hospital,
London, has returned home and
is progressing favourably.
Sunday visitors at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Ward Fritz were
their daughter, Mary Lou, Toron-
to; Miss ,Ella Link, Exeter, and
Miss Olive Warton, London, Eng-
land.
Dr. and Mrs. Archie MacKinawn,
Galt, were weekend guests of Mrs.
M. MacKinnon, and also visited
other relatives in Zurich.

Brussels were Thursday visitors

Mr. and Mrs. Fergus Lannin
and family, Dublin, attended a

riveau's, in honour of Ronald and
