nesday, January 22. In their first
game here Exeter was fortunate
to came through with a victory.
However, since that game some
changes have been made on the

rated Mohawks. It is hoped there
will be no fallen ladders, or ruts
in the ice for the game. Fans

game of the season when these
rivals clash. Be a booster, and at-

later on a nice passing play with
his cousin, Doug. O'Brien. Ken
Parker came through with a goal
on a pass from Baker with only
three minutes left in the game, to
make himself the hero of the
night. With only a little over a
minute left in the game Don
O'Brien scored an insurance mar-
ker for Zurich to make the game
end 7-5 for the Flyers. Tempers
flared frequently in this period, as
the referees seemed unable to do
much about keeping order.
Playing coach Don Hesse was
the sparkplug of the Zurich at-
tack scoring three goals, while
Don O'Brien came up with two
big goals to aid the cause.
Jeffrey, in the Zurich net, play-
ed his best game of the season,
as time and again he stopped
what looked like sure Pt. Edward

ey, which was marred slightly by
incapable refereeing, the Zurich.

men by a score of 7-5, an Friday
night.
The game was only 38 seconds
old when Free put the Redman in
the lead 1-0, only to have Hesse
tie the scare at 2.54 in the same
period. With only 20 seconds re-
maining in the period Baines gave
Pt. Edward a 2-1 lead, The Fly-
ers missed many beautiful scor-
ing opportunities as time and time
again, they just seemed unable to:
get the puck in the net.

From Seaforth
Last Tuesday night Zurich Ban-
tam and Midget Hockey teams
suffered a double defeat at the
hands of Seaforth. Seaforth Ban-
tams won 8-2 while Zurich NBd-
gets also lost 6-3, after having
been in the lead most of the way.
Bantam' Game
Tom Dick came up with a bril-
liant five goal effort for Seaforth
with Don Dale scoring two. Jack
Dick scored the odd goal. For
Zurich, . Ron Deribert scored in
the first period with assists going
to Earl Wagner and Rick Klopp.
The other goal was scored in the
third period by "Cuss" Wagner,
with an assist again going to Rick
Klapp.
Midget Game
After leading at one stage of
the game, the Lions Midgets lost
out by a score of 5-3. Bryan
Geoffrey scored the first two
Zurich goals while Broadfoot
scored the initial Seaforth tally.
At the start of the third period,
after another goal off the stick
of Bob Johnston, the bays led by
a score of 3-1. However, the roof
fell in and Seaforth rapped in
five quick goals, two by Harvey
Dale and one each by Bob Reith,
Larry Dale and Ray Scoins.
Although they lost the game
"Denny" Amacher was a star in
the Zurich nets, as he played his
second game of the night. Denny
is also goal -tender for the Ban-
tam team, and no doubt he saw
plenty of rubber fired at him in
these twa games. Better luck
neat time, fellows!
