Menno Martin and * COMMUNICATION Dear Editor and Readers: - It seems one issue pending for the new Township ;Council and Village Trustees concerning the ;moving of the ,Clerk's office, to make way for a full width street, .which ts very desirable. But buying a lot and moving the building does not seem to be the answer. Wacsuld it not be a lot more con- venient and ;cheaper to have the Clerk's office back in the town hall where it had been in earlier years, At one time 'the Icleek'e work was part time ,and was thus more con- venient to look after Township work at his own place of business There is a lot of wasted space in the town hall that would be put to good use serving as township office. Isn't it true that the average stran- ger, campers for instance, would ex- pect to find the Clerk's office in the town hall? As it is now, if a stran- ger does enter he still ,couldn't be too s ture if he is getting into an office or a school supply warehouse. Hope the new Council will give this matter careful thought. -Interested Taxpayer.
