CNR. ABANDONS TRAIN
Beginning this week the night
train to Goderich from Strazeord and
Toronto has been cut off by the C.
N.R. as an economy measure in spite
of strong protests from towns and
vilages on the Stratford to Goderich
line. Effective this 'Monuay there
will only be one tp•assenger train a
day in each direction on the line.
This train. wil leave Stratford at
110,4r) a.m. arriving at Goaerich at
'12.20 pm. It leaves Goderich. ror the
return trip at 3 p.in., arriving m Str-
atford at 4.40 p.m. But the early
:train out of Goderich for Toronto is
no more.

Four hundred and seventy (tiger
boys and girls from 4-H Clubs all
over Ontario took part in the Annu-
al; IntereClub Competitions in Guelph
on Friday. 42 of these young peo-
ple between the ages of 116 and 21,
were from. Huron County. The com-
petition is divided into sections re-
presenting the various 4-1-1 Projects
which are .conducted in the Province
of Ontario. The teams particlpng
