What is considered the last game
of the 1957 season of 'baseball as :far
as the Zurich Lumber Kings Is con-
cerned was played on the Zurich Di-
amond on Saturday afternoon when
the Walsingham nine came over and
played the locals for the final game,
and took with them the Intermeniate
'D' title, The Zurich .boys made
two runs in the first inning., but after
that it was mostly the visitors who
did the scoring. The locals surely
were far from their best, as they
played some very good ball during
the past season, and surely ctd not
have it on Saturday. This will end
another season of. balband the play-
ers and fans alike cannot help but
ladmit we had good season of ball
in 1957.
