84 Highway will be about completed

They are on the way to Hensall, and

now being resurfaced. There will
however he considerable building up
the sides,. grading, •etc., to be done
which will take 'considerable—time.

HAYFIELD HAS FAIR
With a briliant summer -type sun
that broke out through a chilly tall
wind to draw hundreds out on Thurs-
day last for the 11101st Bayfield Fall
Fair sponsored by the local Agricult-
ural Society, though the -attendance
was down • ligghtly from last year. A.
local man set up a turtle racing bo-
oth which caused considerable inter-
est. The parade was of school child•
ren from the district schools led by
the Goderich Pipe Band and the ev-
ent terminated with a concert • and
dance. The new arena was a big
help for the inside exhibits. And sis
for the out ide there were many fine
specimen of live stock shown.
