When the bear noticed them he slowly walked in the thick bush growling and groaning in his animal language. Mr. Ducharme had the farm dog near him, trying to send the dog afe ter the hear, but the dog refused to go, seeking safety near his master. Some time later INIes. Ducharme was asked of her experience in the berry patch; asked if she would return? She did not hesitate, her .anewer was a plain NO. She advises others to Ivan Kalbfleisch, , W. G.
