Miss Ella Link, of Exeter Is a cousin of the former sisters,who ioined them for the week -end. • Mr. Douglas Tlieander of London, and Mr. Wayne Rowe of Peter- borogu, Ont., have been added to the Zurich Lumber Kings baseball team this season. We wish the boys every sue els and 'Weicote them= to Zurich. They received employment in the Kallbfleisch 'Mills. Relatives and friendsgathered at the home of Mrs. Laura Ings, Varna on Sunday in honor of her mother, Mrs. Bertha Horner, when afamily reunion was enjioyed. A fine get-to- gether and refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Heslop from near Los Angles, California motored up and are spending a few weeks Reith relatives here. Among the relatives visited are Mr and Mrs. Melvin Smith of the Bronson line. Mr and Mrs Exias 'Charrette and children; Mr and Mrs. Earl Denome Miss Barbara Denome +and !b'ov friend all of. Detroit, spent the week at the hone of their mother. Mrs, Fred Haberer, Jr., Mrs. Earl Flaxibard,Miss Marion Fleischauer and Miss Marion Datars were in charge o.f our largest class, the Nur- sery, with about twenty, three and four year olds; present every morn- ing.' (Miss Virginia Deichert and :Mrs. Peter Deichert had a fine class - moan full of Kindergarten (pre school age) children in the parson- age garage. Miss Kathy Kalbfleisch Miss Marion Tuerlcheinl, Mrs. Clair Deichert and Miss Ruth Weide were our Primary group teachers with an attendance of approximately fifteen children in each class. tMrs.'Ed. Dat - ars and Mrs. Mil+fred Schillbe were our capable teachers for the Junior department, while the Pastor instru- eted the Intermediate departinent.All classes have .eaaj.oyed filmstrips a,piy- ing directly to+ their lessons. The Ladies' Aid provided refresh- ments each tnorninig which were en- joyed by all. On the first Friday the entire school was taken to Cedar - brook Park for a picnic. A trans- portation committee 'consisted of Mrs E. Laidlaw and 1itlrs. N. Flerscriauer efficiently locked after all our trTans- ,poitation problems. Our enrollment was 109 children, average attendance was 92. The stall' consisted of 12-14 teachers and helpers.
