Had Anniversary
.11VIr. and Mrs.. Wm. Decker of
;Zurich held an anniversary dinner
tat the Dominion Hotel, Zurich last
Saturday night, to Celebrate their
fortieth (40th) wedding anniversary.
Those who attended were Mr and Mrs
Louis Rader of Dashwood; Mr. and
Mrs. Lloyd Geiser of Crediton; :%1r.
and • Mrs. Ferd Haberer„ Mrs. W.
Weido, and Mr and 3in. Kari Decker
of Zurich. The couple were marred
at Corbett in 1917 and made their
home �n the .groom's farm in Hay
TOsAniship, a mile east of Zurich. They
'fanned here until three years ago
when they retired to Zurich and their
only son Karl took over the farn.
Mrs. Decker has been well known for
her excellent work of booking- rugs
and has won many awards for her
fine workmanship. Mr. Decker wa,::
quite active in raising and showing
fine horses, he was one of the lend-
ing showmen of his time and is non-
e:dive in judging horses around 1he
Province. Mr and Mrs Decker had
two sons, Orvflle who died in 1921,
and Karl, they have live grandcd-
rein.

Mrs. Gordon Bleck opened the
monthly meeting of the Lutheran
Ladies' Aid with the singing of a
hymn and the reading of the open-
ing Versielesfor Lent. Jack Yung-
blut favored us with a piano solo fol-
lowed with a quartette by Sharon
Hugill, Sharen Black, Russell- Klopp
and jack Ytnighlut, accompanied by

the Audio -Visual Depository of the
Et. Lutheran Synod of Canada which
