HAY COUNCIL,
The inaugural meeting of the Hay
Township Council was held in the
Hay Town Hall, Zurich, on January
14411,'57 at 11 am. Rev. K. Zorn of
Dashwood was present and gave
very inspiring address to the Council
members. Assessor G. Aunn treng, Rd
.Supt. and CIerk treas., H. W. B'ro-
kenshire. He' - stressed the need of
serious and fair consideration of all
matters that would be brought be-
fore the Council during the year. Mr.
Becker, Reeve, thanked the oftieiat-
ing clergyman and then gave a fit-
ting address to the council asking
them for .co-operation and cons+der-
ancon of all matters that would be
taming up during 1957. The Cour-
members all gave a enort but ap-
propriate reply. The Reeve then
nailed for the reading of the mieutes
orid upon .motia:n were.: adopted. At
this time some correspondence was
read and a motion was passed by
E. J. Willert and le, Greb that the
meeting adjourn until 1.30 p.m.'
