Anson Coleman, Stanley Township.
He was in his eighty-ninth year, 5011
of the late Francis Coleman and Eliza
Jane Smith. In the year 1898 he
married Elizabeth .Turner who died
in 1902. In 1908 he married Melis-
sa Webster 'who died in 1948. He is
survived by one son and four daugh-
ters: Elsie, Mrs.E igini McKinley;
4. Mabel, Mrs. Fred McClymont, Anson
all of Stanley; Grace, Mrs. Rosa
Chapman of Tuckersmith; and Gladys:
Mrs R. Doig of MoKillop. 'There
are 18 ,grandchildren, 13 great gran-
dchildren and two sisters, Dinah, Mrs.
A. E. Elgie LaVerne,
and Mary Ann, Mrs. Henry Ortwein
of Winnipeg; He lived on the heme
farm until 1929 when he moved to
Egmondville where he was a well
known as. a cattleman and drover.
The funeral was held on Saturday,
December 2(2nd from the G. A. Whit-
ney Funeral Home, •Seaforth. • The
Rev. Dr. Semple .cf Egmondville and
Rev. T. J. Pitt of Varna, officiated.
The Egmondville United Church
choir sang one of his fa.mourite hyrn-
, ns. The .pallbearers were six grand-
sons, An -son and Robert McKinley,
3 Gordon and George Coleman, Ivan
9 McClymont and James Chapman.The
flower bearers were grandchildren,
Sandra, Grace and Elsie Doig, Gladys
Chapman, Margaret .and Joan Mc-
