Mr. Elmore Klopp is having a deep
water pump and preasure tank in-
stalled by his well. This will take
the place of the supply tank that
has served a goodly number of cus-
tomers for a number of years. With
this new system a good supply of
drinking water can now be had in
the upstair departments of the cus-
tomers on the .system as the preasure
will be adequate to force it to the
honse4-ops and even higher. .The
pump has a built-in motor which op-
erates automatically off and on from
the hydro power.

presented the bride and groom with

and were also present. The day was
fittingly observed ;"hen the bride and
groom of 50 years and their children
attended the 'Thanksgiving services
in the Lutheran church, The eight

Stanley Twp., and had lived in Tuck-
ersmith for a number of years. Snr-
viving are a family' of four daught-
ers and two sons. Also three broth-
ers and three:sisters.
Hur'On Visitors Guests Of
Ottawa Teachers
Ottawa—More than 100 teachers'
and principals from schools in East
and West Huron' inspectorates on
Friday were entertained at tea by
teachers of the Ottawa Public schools
Dr. J. H. Putman, chief Ottawa Pub-
lic School inspector, voiced a wel-
come to the visitors. Dr. 3. M. Field,
of Goderich, briefly responded.—
There were a -number of teachers
from the Zurich district attended the
excellent outing to Canada's Capital,
and were well rewarded for going.
A fine trip was arranged to all the
erincipal places in Ottawa; there
was also an eighty mile motor trip
erranged through parts of the Prov-
ince of Quebec. The party arriving
hack home in Huron County on
Monday evening, The party were
indeed much impressed with the fine
enirtesy extended to then -t in the
