a primitive method of cultivation.
William Gossiaan, unfortunate in los-
ing several horses this last winter and
being financially unable to replace
them, decided to hitch up the old cow
and work her with the remaining
home. At first bossy objected to such
strange treatment and. much persu-
asion was necessary to get her to pull
'her share of 'the load. But patient
perseverance finally won and now the
work progresses in spite of handicaps
Many Tourists Enter Ontario
Sarnia -Tourist traffic in Sarnia
and along the Blue Water Highway
was officially opened for the 1935
season when hundreds of tourists
from Port Huron, Detroit, and other
points entered Canada at this port of
entry to spend Memorial Day holiday
at Ontario summer resorts or relati-
ves. The Port Huron and Sarnia
Ferry Company operated two ferries
on a 20 minute schedule and were
very busy. Traffic on the. Blue Water
Highway was reported to be heavy
