Rev. J. P. Hauch, District .Superin-
tendent, of Stratford, was in town
last Friday, holding services in the
Evangelical church Friday evening.
Mr. Carl McLinchey and family,
who have been residents of the Bron-
son line for some years hare moved
onto a farm east of Hensall, which
he has leased.
Mr. and Mrs. Garfield Brown and:
family have now got nicely settled
in their new home on Victoria Street
and Mr. Brown is in a position to
give his services in repairing of shoes
At the. recent. quarterly .'; meeting
of the Vangelicat Church, Mr. Josiah,
Geiger was annionted Lay Delegate
to the Annual Conference held. at
New Hamburg, beginning May 8th.
Mr. W. J. Beattie of Seaforth-, re-
vising officer for the Huron -Perth
riding for Federal purposes, was in
town on Wednesday and left with us
a schedule of the sittings of the
Court of Revlon, which for Zurich
will be May 26th and 27th.
Mr, C. Andersen, and family have
moved to town from Dashwood. He
is the new buttermaker who is start-
ing up in the Dominion Hotel prop-
erty, and it will be some tnne before
he will be ready to operate.

Clinton People Sued
Toronto -Epps Transport, of Clin-
ton and two of its employees, Doug-
las Kennedy and Wm. Inkley by an
order made at Osgood Hall, are nam-
ed defendants in an action in which
Charles Brow -n is claiming damages
from Wni. Robinson for Injuries re-
ceived in a highway accident near
Clinton, 10 miles southeast of God-
erich, Sept. 12, 1934. Charles Brown
plaintiff, was a passenger in the aut-
omobile owned by W. Robinson and
•driven by the batter's son, Harvey,
•who lost his life as a result of the
accident.
