Many ratepayers think that the con- stant flurry and expense of yearly elections is not worth the candle. -Ex. Huron Old 'Boys The 32nd annual meeting of the Huron Old Boy's Association met at Toronto on the eve. of Dec. 4th and as usual, a large attendance or mem- bers from all parts of Huron County attested the strength of the organiz- ation, its present membership is more than 1200. For the first time in the 'history of the organization the gen- eral secretary, Ed. Floody was absent He has been confined to his home with pneumonia. The new president is George Ferguson, formerly of Br- ussels, and under his leadership the Association is assured to continued progress. After the election of offi- cers euchre and bridge were played and there was much good humored competition for the many prizes.
