Ayotte of town has left for St.'Joseph where she intends to spend the winter months with Mrs. V. Denomme. Mr. Pope, mechanic, of Brussels, is spending a few days tuning up the big oil engine at the local mill. Mrs. Brown of Toronto, is visiting her mother, Mrs. V. Meyers, at Blake Mrs. Meyers recently suffered a slight stroke. Mr. and Mrs. Leroy O'Brein and little Billie, Mrs. L. W. Hoffman and little Marjorie; Mr. and Mrs. W. H. HYMENIAL Haugh -McNaughton The Brucefield manse was the scene of a pretty autumn wedding on Saturday, November 3rd, when Mary Margaret, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McNaughton of Kip - pen, became the bride of Wallace Allan. Haugh, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris. H. Haugh of Brucefield, and formerly of the 14th con., Hay Town- ship. After the ceremony the wed- ding dinner was served at the home of the bride'ss parents, and the brid- al couple, Mr. and Mrs. Ilaugh left on a trip to Detroit and other Unit- ed States points. On their return they will reside on the bridegroom's fine farm near Brucefield. are shy and cunning.
