Mr. Harvey Gelinas was a visitor'
to London on. Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Oliver from.
London, spent Sunday at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Weber.
Mrs. Mary Agur of London is, vis-
iting at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
T. L. Williams.
Miss Ruth Tuerkheim and friend,
of Waterloo College, were recent
visitors at the former's home here.
Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Dietrich of
Ayton were visitors for a few days
with Mrs. Dietrich's parents, Mr.
and Mrs. 'Wm. S. Ruby.
Mrs. C. Ayotte of town has left
for St.'Joseph where she intends to
spend the winter months with Mrs.
V. Denomme.
Mr. Pope, mechanic, of Brussels,
is spending a few days tuning up the
big oil engine at the local mill.
Mrs. Brown of Toronto, is visiting
her mother, Mrs. V. Meyers, at Blake
Mrs. Meyers recently suffered a
slight stroke.
Mr. and Mrs. Leroy O'Brein and
little Billie, Mrs. L. W. Hoffman and
little Marjorie; Mr. and Mrs. W. H.
Hoffman motored to Stratford on
Sunday.

Mr. James McBride of Stanley Tp.
purchased the 100 -acre farm on the
Goshen Line, owned by Mr. Henry
McLinchey. The farm being Lot 7,

Hunters are out frequently and
trying their luck at the wild geese,
in fact anything that looks like wild
game and legal to shoot. They tell
us geese, although not so scarce, are

Haugh -McNaughton
The Brucefield manse was the
scene of a pretty autumn wedding on
Saturday, November 3rd, when Mary
Margaret, eldest daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. John McNaughton of Kip -
pen, became the bride of Wallace
Allan. Haugh, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Chris. H. Haugh of Brucefield, and
formerly of the 14th con., Hay Town-
ship. After the ceremony the wed-
ding dinner was served at the home
of the bride'ss parents, and the brid-
al couple, Mr. and Mrs. Ilaugh left
on a trip to Detroit and other Unit-
ed States points. On their return
they will reside on the bridegroom's
fine farm near Brucefield.

purchased the 50 acres of land in
the big swamp owned by Mr. Albert
Keys, farm is located in Ray Town-
ship, and Mr. Meidinger has already

Dr. Harold Box, noted dental sur -

ure in a dental clinic held under the
auspices of the Huron Dental Society

Five young men of Heilman paid
