Miss Johnson advises us that no special refrigeration was used to keep the apple, as it was kept in the ordinary cellar. However we cannot vouch for the flavor, but the apple looked good from the outside. Jr., gave a part of the report of the annual convention which was held at London recently. Mrs. Chris. Haist of Crediton then gave a demonstration on snaking Rose bud (cookies). These were serv- ed at lunch filled with whippen cre- am and. jello, which completed the Rose bud. Mrs. Ivan Kalbfleisch then gave a talk on current -events, this also was very educating, Mrs. Hess and Miss L. Haberer then favored the meeting with a piano duet. Miss Beatrice Manson then gave the lat- ter part of the report of the conven- tion. Both reports were well given, Another demonstration was then given by Mrs. Reith how to make ice buns, this was very interesting, as one often wondered how the butter- fly buns, Pekin roll; hot dog roll, were made besides many other banns which Mrs. Reith demonstrated.
