The Hay Township memorial. Scho-
larships, awarded annually tb; the
Hay township pupils securing the
highest standing at the entrance, ex-

The Council of the Township, of
Stephen met in the Town Hall, Cre-
diton, on the 3rd of July, at 1 !°pm.
All members were present. The Min-
utes of the meeting held at the:last
regular meeting and the special xme-
eting held at Grand Bend on the 30,

A business meeting is being called
by the Zurich Agricultural Society
for Saturday evening, July ,21st at
8.30' o'clock in the Council •Chamber
when all the Directors are officials
of the Society are requested to be
present, . when arrangements will
be made for the conning fair this
fall.
Word has been received from
Prof, Herbert Kalbfleisch, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Louis Kalbfleisch of Hay,
and brother to Mr. Albert Kalbfleisch
of town, that the Prof. is now ist
Germany, as part of his European
trip,' and is very much impressed
with the beautiful scenery', and also
with many- of the old historical plac-
es that have made history just what
it is today.
