The afternoon session was address-
ed by Mr. Hugh Templin of the Fer-
gus News -Record, who offered sev-
eral suggestions to improve the
weekly newspaper. His talk showed
that much time wastaken in pre-
paration and many helpful hints
were taken home with each of those
present that if put into practice, will
no doubt result in the betterment of
a town weekly. •

t was a pleasure and a privilege
to listen to Mr. Ternplin who publish-

their uncle and aunt to Pontiac and
intend doing some 'fishing in the
lakes of northern Michigan.
An aeroplane passed directly over
the villag-e. on Monday in en easterly
direction..• And while these large
birds can skim through the air, yet
there is a considerable noise accent-,
parrying them. If someone could in-
vent, a noiseless engine it would be
a big improvement for these birdlike
machines.
The many friends of Mr. William
O'Hrein are pleased to learn that he
is improving nicely from his recent
operation' in London Hospital, and
was able to return to his home in
Zurich on Monday.. Mr. O'Brein
has made good progress and although
somewhat weakened is recovering
nicely, and with quietness and good
care will soon be able to come down
to the produce store again.
HYMENIAL
The Evangolical I'ar.4onap•e, Zur-
ich was the scene of an interesting
wedding, on Tuesday morning, July
10th, when Lylyan W. Martin, dau-
ghter of Mr. and Mrs. Solomon Mar-
tin, of Babylon Line, Hay Township,
was united in Holy wedlok • with
Mr. Oscar S. Greb, also of Babylon
line, and son of Mr, and Mrs. Simon
Greb of Exeter, Ont. Rev. E. Burn
officiated. The Bride who was un-
attended wore a white crepe gown
made on princess lines, and carried
a bouquet of delphinium, lilies and
baby breath. After the ceremony a
wedding breakfast was served at the
home of the Bride's parents. Later
the bridal couple left for Michigan,
and parts in Ohio, and on their re-
turn will take up residence on the
groom's fine farm on the Babylon
line. For travelling the bride don-
ned a smart biege ensemble with ae-
